What if your unhealthy diet is destroying your body?
Do you know that your diet has significant influence on whether you are risking yourself of developing haemorrhoids (piles) later in your life or not?
Haemorrhoids, commonly known as piles are swollen veins in your anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. Haemorrhoids can develop inside the rectum (internal haemorrhoids) or under the skin around the anus (external hemorrhoids). Nearly three out of four adults will have hemorrhoids from time to time.
There are many factors that may lead to you developing piles, but lack of or a low fiber diet is the most common cause in our population. Other causes include straining during bowel movements, obesity, regular heavy lifting, increasing age and chronic constipation.
The best way for the prevention of piles is to drink plenty of fluids and have a diet rich in fiber this includes bran bread 🍞 fiber cereals🥣, wheat, oat , fruits like pear🍐, apple 🍎, prunes, vegetables like cooked green peas, baked sweet potatoes 🥔 with skin and kidney beans etc.
The things that you should avoid to have in excess in your diet includes cheese 🧀, chips🍟, fast food 🍔 ice cream 🍧, frozen foods, meat 🥩 processed foods and microwavable dinners.
Although haemorrhoids are treatable but some cases may require surgery.
PREVENTION is ALWAYs BETTER then CURE.
